The Challenge

Healthylife provides a contemporary digital solution for everyday health needs, offering a holistic destination for a range of health and wellness products and advice. As Australia’s leading retailer, it is important for Woolworths and Healthylife that the credibility and value of the digital platform is supported with credible, trusted advice from healthcare professionals.

The Solution

National Nutrition Foundation plays a pivotal role in Healthylife’s content through the development and execution of engaging, evidence-based advice that strives to support everyday Australians in making informed food decisions for themselves and their families.

We deliver this through a series of key activations specially designed to enrich Healthylife’s content repository, elevate its profile, and enhance the credibility as an online health and wellbeing platform.

What we did

  • A thorough review and enhancement of Food Tracker, a free tool that analyses your shopping basket to help you make healthier food choices. As of April 2024, over 334,000 Australians have signed up.
  • NNF eDM campaigns to promote free health programs and increase reach. Average open and click rate in 2024 was 38% and 5.7% respectively.
  • Developed a social media campaign and assets covering a spectrum of topics, including organic food, sustainability, plant-based diets, festive food swaps, and gut health.
  • Execution of two high-impact social media takeovers during National Nutrition Week and Healthy Lunchbox Week, significantly boosting engagement.
  • Hosting three interactive Q&A events:
    • an Instagram Q&A on sustainable eating
    • a Festive Season live webinar and Q&A session
    • a Live Instagram Q&A during Healthy Lunchbox Week
  • Development of educational content for five online health programs, covering topics on healthy lunchboxes, pantry basics, women’s health, men’s health and early nutrition.

The outcome

Post-project reviews confirmed the significant impact of these activities which has lead to an ongoing collaboration with Healthylife. This extension includes further involvement in Healthylife’s programs and promotional activities, continuing our mutual commitment to promoting health and wellness in the community.
