ozharvest ceo cook off.

1min read • October 23rd, 2025

Aisling Dempsey, co-CEO of the National Nutrition Foundation, recently took part in the 2025 OzHarvest CEO Cookoff, a nationwide fundraising event that brings together CEOs and top chefs to create a night to remember for people in need.

The CEO Cookoff is OzHarvest’s flagship initiative, designed to raise funds and awareness for food relief across the country. This year marked a major milestone, with nine events held across seven cities, aiming to raise enough to deliver over two million meals to those in need.

The event was more than a culinary challenge, it was a chance to connect, listen and reflect on the realities faced by many Australians. With over 3.4 million households struggling to put food on the table, the need for initiatives like this has never been greater.

Aisling’s involvement reflects the National Nutrition Foundation’s commitment to supporting food security and promoting nutritional wellbeing across Australia. Events like the CEO Cookoff not only raise vital funds but also foster a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable communities and the role leaders can play in driving meaningful change.

“It was a one-of-a-kind experience that left my cup very full. Feeling grateful to be part of a community making a real difference.”
