Peter Armstrong is an experienced Director in ‘for purpose’ organisations with an extensive professional background in business management as a consultant and senior executive. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a certified Global Remuneration Professional. Peter is currently an advisory board member of the Melbourne Recital Centre Foundation and the Chairperson of an Owners Corporation. He has previously held director and advisory board roles with the Southern Cross Philharmonia Orchestra, and Synergistic and held a leadership role in Victoria’s largest Presbyterian Church. Peter has held executive roles in complex organisations going through major transformations and provided advisory and consulting services to a wide range of organisations.
His Director experience includes the establishment and renewal of effective governance and the development of a stronger strategic focus on organisation impact and delivery of purpose. His professional experience spans strategy development, culture transformation, remuneration design and administration, financial management, corporate and people governance practices, change management and leadership appointment and development.
